LaFontaine and UVeye Bring Free AI Vehicle Scans to Michigan

LaFontaine Automotive Group and UVeye are deploying complimentary AI vehicle inspection lanes across more than 40 dealership locations in Michigan. The systems scan tires, undercarriages and exteriors within seconds.

LaFontaine Automotive Group and UVeye announced in a press release that they will deploy complimentary AI vehicle inspection lanes across more than 40 LaFontaine locations in Michigan. The scans will be available to all drivers, regardless of vehicle type or where it was purchased.

UVeye's computer vision systems scan tires, undercarriages and vehicle exteriors within seconds. Drivers receive images and information about potential issues, and the company reports an accuracy rate of 96%.

The companies scheduled the first inspection lane to open on September 14 at LaFontaine Buick GMC Highland. LaFontaine operates 43 dealership locations in Michigan, while UVeye says its more than 1,000 systems scan over 3 million vehicles each month.
