Sep 17, 2026
Insilico Medicine released an open toolkit with an AI benchmark, specialized language models and an agent platform for aging research. Its top model recorded the highest overall score among 26 systems tested on LongevityBench.

Insilico Medicine introduced an open AI toolkit for aging research in a Cell cover study, the company said in a press release. The toolkit includes the LongevityBench evaluation benchmark, Longevity LLMs trained on clinical and multi omics aging data, and the Longevity Claw research agent.

The study tested 26 AI systems, including 18 frontier systems. The specialized models contain 0.6 billion to 9 billion parameters, with L-Qwen3.5-9B recording the highest overall LongevityBench score.

Longevity Claw combines the model with tools for gene set enrichment, biological aging clock calculations, population analysis, evidence synthesis and target evaluation. Across 14 hallmarks of aging, it identified 328 potential intervention targets, with enrichment of up to 5.6 fold against an independent reference set.

Insilico Medicine released the benchmark, models, training resources, evaluation code and Longevity Claw for public research use.
