Health Gorilla Joins CMS-Aligned Network for AI-Ready Data Exchange
Health Gorilla has joined the CMS-Aligned Network as a trusted data network, enabling AI-ready clinical data exchange at a national scale, announced in a press release. Recognized by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Health Gorilla is one of the inaugural data network early adopters in this initiative.
The CMS-Aligned Network, unveiled at a White House event, aims to create a more connected, patient-centric health data ecosystem. As a Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN) under the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA), Health Gorilla provides secure, standards-based access to structured clinical data. This data is transformed into AI-ready formats, supporting advanced analytics and intelligent applications through secure FHIR APIs.
Health Gorilla's participation in the CMS-Aligned Network will support CMS's goal of engaging in trusted data exchange by 2026, facilitating data access for beneficiaries and providers through modern digital channels. The company emphasizes the importance of making data usable, trustworthy, and intelligent, contributing to the CMS Health Tech Ecosystem's infrastructure and data quality.
