Forcepoint to Acquire Getvisibility for Enhanced AI-Driven Data Security
Forcepoint has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Getvisibility, a company known for its AI-powered Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and Data Detection and Response (DDR) technologies, announced in a press release. This acquisition aims to enhance Forcepoint's Data Security Everywhere platform by integrating Getvisibility's advanced AI-driven risk visibility and remediation capabilities.
The integration of Getvisibility's DSPM and DDR technologies will allow Forcepoint to offer improved real-time risk detection, automated response, and compliance enforcement. This move is expected to simplify security management and enhance risk mitigation for enterprise and government customers. The acquisition builds on a successful multi-year partnership between the two companies, further strengthening their interoperability.
Getvisibility's AI-mesh technology, which has been a core component of Forcepoint's data security strategy for over two years, will continue to provide superior visibility and insights into data risks. This includes identifying redundant and obsolete data, improper access, misplaced files, and regulatory exposure. The acquisition will expand these capabilities, delivering comprehensive security that adapts to how users interact with data across various platforms and environments.
Further details on the integration of Getvisibility within Forcepoint's portfolio will be announced later this year, following the completion of the acquisition.
