Footprint Raises $25 Million for AI Compliance Platform
Footprint raised $25 million in a Series B round led by QED Investors, the company said in a press release. MUFG, Commerce Ventures, LightBank, Alumni Ventures, and existing investors also participated.
Footprint will use the funding to double its engineering and sales teams, open a San Francisco office, and expand Percy, its AI system for financial crime risk and compliance. Percy investigates cases, follows standard operating procedures, and creates audit trails with citations and timestamps.
The platform covers anti money laundering, customer and business verification, enhanced due diligence, and transaction monitoring. Its Trust Fabric infrastructure connects signals across customers and cases to help compliance teams identify fraud rings and recurring bad actors.
