Smarter SMSF to Launch Smartie AI for Technical Support
Smarter SMSF will make its Smartie AI technical support assistant publicly available on November 18, according to SMSF Adviser. The tool answers self managed super fund questions using a curated library of training materials, legal guidance and Australian Taxation Office rulings.
Smartie AI is designed to cite supporting sources, and CEO Aaron Dunn said it has been instructed not to answer from model knowledge or memory. When it cannot provide a confident response, users can reframe the question or submit a ticket to Smarter SMSF specialists. The service includes six specialist agents covering contributions, pensions and benefit payments, investment rules, trusteeship and membership, estate planning, and fund taxation.
The assistant is built with Microsoft Copilot Studio and is licensed per firm, giving all staff access without per user fees. It includes more than 120 prompts and can turn answers into file notes, advice extracts or client emails. Smarter SMSF says the system does not use client personal data and applies Zero Trust security and Data Loss Prevention controls.
