Diversis Capital Closes $1.2 Billion Fund III for Software and Tech Investments
Diversis Capital has completed its third private equity fund with more than $1.2 billion in total commitments, announced in a press release. The oversubscribed Diversis Capital Partners III, L.P. reached its hard cap, exceeding the initial target of $850 million and bringing the firm's total assets under management to over $3 billion.
The fund attracted strong participation from a global mix of institutional investors, including endowments, foundations, pension plans, and family offices. William Blair served as the exclusive global placement agent, while Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP provided legal counsel.
Diversis Capital, founded in 2013, focuses on operationally driven control investments in lower middle-market software and technology-enabled services companies. The firm plans to continue applying its strategy of combining growth capital and operational support to expand its portfolio across North America, and selectively in Europe and Australia.
