Deloitte Survey Finds Technology Gaps in AI Cost Programs

In a press release, Deloitte says 55% of organizations pursuing AI enabled cost transformation report that their current technology environment cannot fully support those efforts. Its 2026 Enterprise Cost Transformation Survey covered 500 senior business leaders across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific in April 2026.

The survey found that 96% of organizations are pursuing, have completed or are planning a cost transformation. Only 14% fully captured the value targeted by their highest priority initiative during the previous year, while 24% account for value leakage when setting goals.

Among respondents, 67% expect to meet or exceed their overall targets and 76% have made or plan to make their commitments public. Another 77% expect to invest between 20 and 90 cents for every dollar of targeted savings.

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
