OneStream Survey Finds 14% of Finance Organizations Gain Enterprise Value From AI
OneStream, which sells finance software it markets as an AI operating system for finance, said in a press release that 74% of finance teams use AI to reduce manual work, while only 14% say their AI investments have reached enterprise value and decision impact. The findings come from OneStream's Forward Finance Index, a survey of 1,300 CFOs and equivalent finance leaders at mid market and enterprise organizations in the US, UK and France.
Only 40% of respondents classified their financial reporting data as fully transparent, although 71% said they were confident in their team's ability to provide trusted data and insight. Four in 10 said data quality issues regularly block or delay their AI projects.
OneStream scored organizations across five areas: AI strategy, data, workforce, operations and collaboration with IT. It found that 6% lead across all five, while 52% rank as followers.
Only 15% of organizations have a fully embedded AI skills program, and 15% have a fully integrated joint finance and IT roadmap with shared KPIs and accountability. Two thirds said failing to prepare their workforce would make their organization irrelevant within five years.

Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
