CTIA Appoints Kurt Schaubach as Chief Technology Officer

CTIA has named Kurt Schaubach as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Schaubach will lead the association’s technology strategy across wireless innovation, spectrum policy, and AI integration in future network development.

CTIA has appointed Kurt Schaubach as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, announced in a press release. He brings more than thirty years of experience in wireless technology and spectrum innovation.

Schaubach will oversee CTIA’s technical initiatives across spectrum policy, network evolution, security, device certification, and emerging technologies. His responsibilities include guiding the integration of AI into wireless networks and advancing the development of future 6G capabilities.

Before joining CTIA, Schaubach served as Chief Technology Officer at Federated Wireless. He will work with industry leaders, policymakers, and global stakeholders to strengthen U.S. leadership in next generation wireless connectivity.
