Clipbook has raised $3.3 million in seed funding co-led by Mark Cuban, Commonweal Ventures, and Carpenter Capital to enhance its AI platform for communications and public affairs.

Clipbook has raised $3.3 million in a seed funding round co-led by Mark Cuban, Commonweal Ventures, and Carpenter Capital, announced in a press release. The company, which develops an AI platform for communications and public affairs, plans to use the funds to expand its product, engineering, and go-to-market operations.

The round also included participation from executives such as Danny Werfel, former IRS Commissioner and Global Head of Public Sector at Boston Consulting Group, and Dan Pfeiffer, former White House Communications Director. Other investors include Dave Marchick, Jamie Beaton, Ken Spain, Mario Götze, and Mike Kempner.

Founded in 2023, Clipbook has grown to serve over 200 clients, including Weber Shandwick and the Boston Consulting Group. The platform synthesizes data from more than one million sources to deliver predictive, context-rich insights for communications and public affairs teams.

With the new funding, Clipbook aims to strengthen its position as a leading vertical AI provider in the communications sector, building on its existing base of enterprise and agency clients.
