Schreiber Foods and Ascendion Partner on Agentic AI for Operations
Schreiber Foods and Ascendion announced in a press release a multiyear partnership to use agentic AI in Schreiber's global operations and software development. Ascendion will equip Schreiber capability centers with AI tools across more than 40 locations on five continents.
The companies said AI agents will help send quality and food safety signals to decision makers faster, support ERP modernization, and give regional teams a shared way to collaborate. They also said repetitive technology work will increasingly be handled by AI agents, while engineers and analysts focus on tasks that require human judgment.
Ascendion will use AAVA, its agentic AI platform, across capability center workflows. The platform is planned to support plant floor decisions, traceability across geographies, and operational resilience.
Schreiber is a food and beverage supplier with products sold in more than 95 countries. Its global IT capability centers serve more than 10,000 employees.
