Schneider Electric Survey Finds Faster Industrial AI Adoption in US

Schneider Electric said in a press release that US consumer packaged goods and life sciences manufacturers are adopting industrial AI faster than their global peers. The company presented the survey findings at PACK EXPO International 2026 in Chicago.

Among surveyed executives, 29% of US consumer packaged goods manufacturers said AI was embedded throughout core operations and decision making, compared with 13% globally. Another 52% of US respondents had deployed AI across multiple sites or processes, versus 27% worldwide.

By 2030, 67% of US respondents expect AI to be central to operations, compared with 37% globally. US manufacturers estimated that downtime, waste, delays, rework and inefficient asset use currently cost 20% of potential manufacturing revenue, above the global estimate of 15%.

Censuswide surveyed 252 senior manufacturing decision makers for the US findings. The global comparisons draw on responses from more than 1,400 executives.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
