Casepoint Expands FOIA Platform With New AI Assistants and Workflow Tools
Casepoint announced in a press release the latest update to its Casepoint FOIA solution, adding AI assistants and enhanced lifecycle management tools to support federal, defense, and state agencies. The update is designed to help agencies handle increasing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act requests while maintaining security and consistency.
The platform now includes AI assistants that assist with reading room navigation, request writing, and intake triage. The Reading Room Assistant directs users to existing records, while the Request Writing Assistant helps draft clearer FOIA requests. The Intake Assistant sorts and prioritizes incoming requests by checking for completeness, duplication, and potential automated submissions.
Casepoint FOIA also expands its full lifecycle management features, offering configurable forms, automated communication, duplicate detection, and reporting tools. Integrations with Login.gov, FOIA.gov, Pay.gov, and cloud services such as Microsoft 365, Google, and Slack connect FOIA workflows with existing agency systems. Integration with ID.me is expected later this quarter.
The unified platform includes eDiscovery functionality to streamline review, redaction, and production processes within a single environment. Casepoint holds FedRAMP High and Department of Defense Impact Levels 5 and 6 authorizations, making it one of six providers globally with IL6 certification. The updated Casepoint FOIA is available now.
