Clerq, formerly NLPatent, announced in a press release that it has rebranded and launched an agentic AI platform for patent research tasks. The company said the platform can complete work that usually takes days or weeks in about 10 minutes.

The first two workflows cover rapid triage for screening invention disclosures and full patentability reports. The reports include reasoning and cited references for review by a responsible attorney. Clerq said invalidity and freedom to operate workflows will follow.
