GovRAMP and Knox Systems Launch GovRAMP Accelerator

GovRAMP and Knox Systems have launched the Knox GovRAMP Accelerator, a program that lets eligible Knox customers obtain GovRAMP Authorized verification for cloud environments and receive their own listing on the GovRAMP Authorized Product List.

GovRAMP and Knox Systems launched the Knox GovRAMP Accelerator, a program that lets Knox customers obtain GovRAMP Authorized verification for cloud environments immediately, the organizations announced in a press release.

The program is for software providers that want to serve state and local governments. It allows eligible Knox customers to use Knox's GovRAMP Authorized environment, reusable security controls, and a streamlined review process.

Eligible customers can receive an independent listing on the GovRAMP Authorized Product List while running on Knox's environment. GovRAMP said this gives government buyers more visibility into approved products.

Knox said the accelerator extends its managed cloud model from federal and defense customers to state and local agencies, including agencies adopting AI, cybersecurity tools, and other commercial software.
