CampusKnot Inc. has raised $1.1 million to expand its AI-powered teaching assistant platform across U.S. universities, announced in a press release. The funding round includes investments from Tulane Ventures, Boot 64 Ventures, Invest Mississippi Impact Fund, Momentum Fund, Greaux Innovation Ventures, and private investors from Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arizona.

The platform serves as an AI teaching assistant designed to help professors automate grading, track participation, generate classroom questions, and summarize discussions. It also provides engagement analytics to identify students who may need additional support. Professors can upload course materials to automatically create interactive activities and assessments aligned with their learning objectives.

With the new funding, CampusKnot plans to expand nationwide, hiring in sales, engineering, and customer success roles. The company also aims to strengthen its partnerships with VitalSource and Follett, which provide access to more than 1,000 campuses. Currently, professors at 32 universities—including Mississippi State University, The University of Alabama, Texas A&M University, Tulane University, and Louisiana State University—are using the platform.

CampusKnot’s growth has been supported by regional innovation programs such as Invest Mississippi, Idea Village, and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Outreach at Mississippi State University, which helped the company refine its business model and scale its operations.
