ZAST.AI Raises $6 Million to Advance AI-Powered Code Security

ZAST.AI has raised $6 million in a Pre-A funding round led by Hillhouse Capital, announced in a press release. The funding brings the company’s total capital to nearly $10 million and will be used to accelerate technology development and expand globally.

ZAST.AI’s platform uses AI to automatically generate and validate Proof-of-Concepts for detected vulnerabilities, achieving what it calls a “zero false positive” standard. The system conducts deep code analysis and executes generated proofs to confirm vulnerabilities, differentiating it from traditional static analysis tools.

The company reported that in 2025 its technology identified hundreds of zero-day vulnerabilities across widely used software, resulting in 119 CVE assignments. Affected projects included Microsoft Azure SDK, Apache Struts XWork, Alibaba Nacos, and WordPress. ZAST.AI serves multiple enterprise clients, including Fortune Global 500 companies, and plans to use the new funding to enhance its AI-driven security platform and support market expansion.
