Stand Together Ventures Lab and Partners Invest in TAP for AI Workforce Training
In a press release, Stand Together Ventures Lab, Cubit Capital, 8VC, and GSV announced their joint investment in Training All People (TAP), an AI-powered workforce development platform focused on advanced manufacturing training.
TAP offers simulation-based training environments accessible through virtual reality, mobile devices, or web browsers. The platform integrates an AI coach that personalizes instruction, evaluates technical abilities, and provides objective, performance-based assessments to verify skills before hiring. This approach aims to address labor shortages and training inefficiencies as experienced workers retire and new talent enters the field.
The company’s adaptive simulations have shown measurable results across sectors such as defense, manufacturing, and higher education. For example, Northrop Grumman employees improved technical skills by 45%, and learners at Austin Community College reported higher confidence during technical interviews.
Investors emphasized TAP’s potential to strengthen U.S. industrial readiness and competitiveness by scaling access to hands-on technical training. The funding will support TAP’s continued expansion and deployment across industries seeking to improve workforce capability through AI-driven learning tools.
