NAVER D2SF Makes Third Investment in NdotLight
NAVER D2SF has made a third investment in NdotLight as part of a KRW 15 billion funding round led by Korea Development Bank, the firm said in a press release.
The investment follows NAVER D2SF participation in NdotLight funding rounds in 2021 and 2022. NdotLight builds data infrastructure for physical AI and has developed TRINIX, a 3D data generation solution for AI training simulations.
TRINIX creates 3D data with physical properties such as mass, friction, joint structures, and collision boundary information. The system integrates with NVIDIA Omniverse to supply 3D simulation datasets.
NdotLight provides AI training data to humanoid robotics and robotics foundation model companies, including Holiday Robotics, AeiRobot, ROBROS, and RLWRLD. It is also a data supplier for physical AI projects led by Hyundai Motor and LG Electronics.
