Arlo Secure 7 Adds AI Threat Assessment and Activity Summaries

Arlo Technologies has introduced Arlo Secure 7, an AI powered security service with Threat Assessment and Arlo Summary, the company said in a press release. Threat Assessment identifies urgent situations such as burglaries, fires, armed threats, and theft.

The service can respond based on an event's severity by activating sirens or spotlights, sending notifications, or escalating the event to a professional monitoring center. Arlo Summary provides an on demand, plain language recap of important activity from the previous 24 hours.

Arlo also introduced the Ultra Secure Plan, which provides continuous recording for up to three cameras and retains recordings for 30 days. The new features will roll out to Arlo Secure Early Warning System customers over the following month.
