Alice Secures €4.2 Million for AI-Powered Learning Platform
Alice, a Copenhagen-based EdTech startup, has raised €4.2 million to advance its AI-driven learning platform. The funding round was led by Cherry Ventures and Y Combinator, with participation from angel investors across the US and Europe. Alice aims to transform generic educational content into personalized study experiences, offering students an AI-powered tutor that adapts to their learning styles.
Founded in 2024 by Kim Rants and Patrick Gadd, Alice's platform uses AI to convert standard course materials into tailored content, including study guides, quizzes, and tutoring sessions. The platform also features a 'Study with Friends' option, allowing students to collaborate and share materials. Alice's user base has reportedly increased by 650% in the past four months, and the platform is currently available in 10 countries.
With the new funding, Alice plans to scale its reach, refine its AI models, and establish deeper partnerships with educational institutions in Europe and the US. The company operates on a subscription-based freemium model, offering both monthly and yearly plans, and is collaborating with universities and high schools interested in its innovative approach to education.
