Functionize Secures $41 Million to Enhance AI-Driven Quality Assurance
Functionize has closed a $41 million Series B funding round to advance its AI-powered platform for software testing, announced in a press release. The round was led by Mumford Investments and LHH Investments, with participation from Canvas Ventures and Wipro Ventures.
The funding will be used to enhance Functionize's agentic automation platform, which allows organizations to generate comprehensive test cases quickly and reduce test maintenance costs by up to 90%. The company plans to scale its cloud infrastructure, expand its go-to-market teams, and build additional data science and engineering teams.
Functionize's platform, which introduced intelligent AI-powered agents, aims to revolutionize software testing by enabling autonomous test creation, execution, and maintenance. In 2024, the platform executed over a billion agentic AI actions, significantly increasing productivity and reducing costs for its enterprise customers.
