Alianza and ai.io Partner to Bring AI Talent Scouting to Hispanic Soccer Players
Alianza has partnered with ai.io to expand access to AI-based talent identification across the U.S. Hispanic soccer community, announced in a press release. The collaboration, supported by For Soccer, will integrate ai.io’s aiScout app into the 2026 Alianza Tour to create a scalable pathway for players to be assessed and scouted by professional clubs and federations.
Through the partnership, participants in the Alianza Tour will be able to use the free aiScout app to complete standardized drills, record their performance, and receive objective assessments based on hundreds of metrics. The data collected will be used by Alianza’s talent staff to enhance scouting workflows and maintain consistent player evaluations. One participant from the aiScout trials will be selected to attend the Allstate Sueño Alianza National Showcase.
The aiScout platform uses deep learning and computer vision to evaluate player movements through a smartphone, without the need for sensors or specialized equipment. It is already in use with Premier League and Major League Soccer partners. Educational sessions will also be held during the tour to teach families how to use data as a development tool.
The partnership aims to give young players continuous visibility to professional clubs while expanding access to advanced evaluation tools within Hispanic soccer communities across the United States.
