Akash Network will migrate its blockchain infrastructure and distributed compute marketplace to Solana over the next 24 months.

Akash Network announced in a press release that it will migrate its blockchain infrastructure to Solana over the next 24 months. The move follows approval of Governance Proposal 346, which received support from 97% of participating token holders.

Akash Marketplace, the AkashML inference platform, and Akash Homenode will become available natively on Solana. The companies have started technical planning and coordination for the transition.

Existing AKT holders will be able to exchange their tokens for SPL AKT at a ratio of one to one through a dedicated portal. Akash plans to publish migration milestones and instructions as the work progresses.

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
