ADIA Acquires Minority Stake in Sapiens as Company Expands to London

June 01, 2026
The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority has taken a significant minority stake in Sapiens International Corporation, which also announced the relocation of its headquarters to London and the opening of AI Customer Experience Labs in the UK and US.

Sapiens International Corporation announced that a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority has invested in the company and become a significant minority shareholder according to a press release. The investment supports Sapiens' growth under Advent's ownership and its expansion of AI capabilities for the insurance sector.

Sapiens provides software systems for more than 600 insurance companies worldwide. Its agentic platforms automate workflows in areas such as policy underwriting, claims management, and risk assessment. The company’s agentic product suite, including Agentic Claims, Agentic Underwriting, and Agentic Policy, is built on the Central Agentic Framework, which links insurers’ core systems to their AI strategies.

Sapiens also announced the relocation of its global headquarters to central London, in Holborn’s Space House. The new office will serve as both a headquarters and an AI Customer Experience Lab where insurers can work directly with Sapiens teams to develop and test AI applications. A second AI Customer Experience Lab is planned for the United States later in the year to focus on North American insurance markets.
