ZaiNar is joining Arm Total Design for Physical AI as a founding location partner, contributing location technology for robots and autonomous machines.

ZaiNar is joining Arm Holdings Plc's Total Design for Physical AI program as a founding location partner, the company announced in a press release. ZaiNar will contribute shared location awareness for robots and autonomous machines while adapting its algorithms and signal processing for Arm based compute platforms.

ZaiNar says its network software turns existing wireless networks into sensors, providing indoor and underground location accuracy below 10 centimeters. It also works in environments without GPS and requires no device or hardware changes.

The system provides location updates 100 to 500 times per second across WiFi, 5G, and other radio protocols. Proposed uses include robot training, coordination among groups of robots, and persistent environmental memory.
