TIER IV Joins Arm Program to Expand Autoware Support

TIER IV joins Arm Total Design for Physical AI, the company announced in a press release. It will contribute its autonomous driving software expertise and work to make Autoware available across more Arm based systems on chips and vehicle computing platforms.

The work builds on the companies' collaboration through Open AD Kit, an open framework that supports the deployment of Autoware across different computing platforms. TIER IV and Arm demonstrated Open AD Kit on Arm based hardware at CES 2026.

TIER IV plans to provide ready to use Autoware configurations for semiconductor companies and vehicle manufacturers. The company will also connect Autoware developers with computing and technology partners in the Arm program.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
