Bojangles Extends Hi Auto Drive Through AI Deal

Oct 23, 2026
Bojangles and Hi Auto extended their multi year agreement for the Bo-Linda AI ordering system, which handles more than one million weekly orders across nearly 500 restaurants.

Hi Auto and Bojangles extended their multi year partnership for the Bo-Linda AI ordering system, the companies announced in a press release. The system operates at nearly 500 Bojangles restaurants, processes more than one million orders each week, and records a 98% success rate.

Bojangles plans to add Bo-Linda at 100 more locations by mid 2027. A planned upselling feature will adjust recommendations in real time based on queue length, offering items that require less preparation when lines are longer. Existing recommendations account for time of day, weather, and inventory.

The extended agreement also covers an XPI connection between Bo-Linda and the Global Payments Genius point of sale platform. At restaurants with two drive through lanes, the system pairs each order with an image of the customer's vehicle so staff can match orders after the lanes merge.
