UVeye Implements AI Vehicle Inspections at Jaguar Land Rover's U.S. Ports

UVeye has partnered with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) North America to install AI-powered vehicle inspection systems at JLR's U.S. seaport facilities, announced in a press release. These systems are now operational at ports in Brunswick, Georgia; Baltimore, Maryland; and Port Hueneme, California.
This initiative marks JLR as the first U.S. car manufacturer to integrate UVeye's automated inspections into its Customer Acceptance Line (CAL) process. The AI systems provide comprehensive inspections of vehicles arriving from overseas, ensuring they meet JLR's quality standards before reaching retailers.
The deployment of UVeye's technology at these ports aims to streamline vehicle logistics by reducing manual errors and enhancing inspection accuracy. The systems can detect damage as small as 20mm, including minor dents and scratches, which might be missed during manual checks. This automation offers full transparency and traceability from the point of entry to the showroom, optimizing the supply chain.
UVeye's inspection systems are already widely used across U.S. dealerships, and this expansion into port operations represents a significant growth in their application, supporting the entire vehicle lifecycle from manufacturing to retail.
