USD.AI and BSQ Capital Launch $300 Million Joint Venture for AI Compute Financing in Asia Pacific
USD.AI and BSQ Capital Partners have formed a joint venture to finance GPU-backed AI compute infrastructure across the Asia Pacific region, announced in a press release. The initial phase will target up to 300 million dollars in GPU-backed financings, with an expansion pathway to 1 billion dollars based on performance milestones.
The joint venture will provide senior secured term loans collateralized by first-priority security over GPUs and their associated cashflows. BSQ Capital Partners will act as investment manager, originating and managing transactions across markets including Australia, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and India. USD.AI will supply financing capital through its underwriting platform and technology that converts compute hardware into financeable collateral.
This initiative will expand USD.AI's operations in the Asia Pacific, a region experiencing growing demand for AI compute capacity. The partnership aims to make institutional capital more accessible to operators who face limited financing options from conventional banks.
