TCL Partners with F-Secure to Integrate Cybersecurity into Broadband Devices

October 20, 2025
TCL and F-Secure announced a strategic partnership to embed advanced cybersecurity features into TCL’s broadband and mobile connectivity devices, enhancing protection against online threats.

At Network X 2025 in Paris, TCL announced a strategic partnership with F-Secure to integrate advanced cybersecurity features into its broadband and mobile connectivity products, according to a press release.

The collaboration embeds F-Secure’s cybersecurity technologies and global threat intelligence into TCL’s Fixed Broadband (FBB), Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), and Mobile Broadband (MBB) devices. These include AI-powered 5G CPEs, Wi-Fi 7 mesh routers, and mobile Wi-Fi devices, all of which will now feature built-in multi-layered security.

The integrated system protects users from malicious connections, phishing, and malware by using URL reputation analysis and device behavior monitoring. It also prevents tracking and data collection, providing privacy and malware protection without requiring manual setup.

F-Secure’s router-embedded approach delivers automatic, always-on security for every connected device, ensuring protection against evolving cyber threats while maintaining network performance.
