Taoping Reports $30.8 Million Revenue for Fiscal 2025 Amid Platform Expansion Efforts
Taoping Inc. announced in a press release its financial results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025. The company reported total revenue of $30.8 million, a decline of about 16 percent compared to $36.7 million in 2024, reflecting a continued shift from legacy software businesses to AI and IoT platform services.
Gross profit for the year was $3.37 million, down from $7.77 million in 2024, while operating loss widened to $9.23 million from $1.61 million the previous year. Net loss attributable to the company was $10.06 million, compared to $1.82 million in 2024.
Management stated that 2025 marked an acceleration of its transformation into a technology-focused platform company emphasizing AI, IoT, and data-enabled services. The company expanded its intelligent infrastructure offerings, including smart city and elevator lifecycle solutions, and reported more than $3 million in new smart elevator orders.
Looking ahead, Taoping expects continued growth in AI platform services, increased recurring revenue, and gradual improvement in gross margins. The company plans to execute a multi-year growth strategy centered on technology expansion, strategic collaborations, and acquisitions.
