Sovereign Lending Group Rolls Out AI Agents for Loan Officers

Sovereign Lending Group announced the rollout of customized AI agents powered by Anthropic's Claude to support its loan officers, aiming for a 25 percent productivity gain and expanded staffing nationwide.

Sovereign Lending Group has begun deploying personalized AI agents across the company, announced in a press release. The California-based mortgage lender said the agents are powered by Anthropic's Claude and tailored to the specific workflow of each loan officer.

The AI agents automate administrative work, provide operational support, and have already produced a 25 percent increase in productivity. Sovereign Lending Group said that by reducing manual tasks, the technology enables officers to close up to three times more loans within 120 days.

Following the rollout, the company is expanding its team of loan officers to meet increasing demand and broaden access to homeownership across the United States. Founded in 2005, Sovereign Lending Group has funded hundreds of billions of dollars in home loans.
