Socure Introduces AI Copilot for Enhanced Watchlist Screening

Socure has launched its first AI-powered assistant, AI Copilot, to improve global watchlist screening and monitoring, reducing false positives and enhancing compliance efficiency.

Socure has launched its first AI-powered assistant, AI Copilot, to enhance its Global Watchlist Screening and Monitoring solution, announced in a press release. This new tool aims to transform how organizations handle sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEP), and adverse media matches by improving speed, accuracy, and efficiency.

The AI Copilot introduces a patent-pending, two-stage scoring system. The first stage assigns a Name Match Score, assessing how closely a customer's name aligns with watchlist entries, enriched with additional personally identifiable information (PII) for a clearer risk assessment. The second stage, an Entity Correlation Score, replicates an analyst's decision-making process, evaluating the likelihood that the source list and the matched entity are the same.

This system significantly reduces false positives and the need for manual reviews, streamlining compliance processes. The AI Copilot also ensures consistency in operational workflows by reducing human subjectivity and providing standardized documentation. Analysts can confirm or override results, with all actions logged for transparency and compliance.

Key results from implementing the AI Copilot include a 78% reduction in manual reviews, an 80% faster case review time, and up to a 60% reduction in compliance operational costs. These improvements allow analysts to focus on true risks and high-value tasks, enhancing overall productivity and compliance efficiency.
