SAS Survey Reveals Growing Interest in Quantum AI Among Businesses
According to a recent press release by SAS, a global survey of 500 business leaders indicates that more than 60% of businesses are actively investing in or exploring opportunities in quantum AI. The survey highlights a significant interest in quantum technologies, which are seen as the next major advancement following AI.
Despite the enthusiasm, the survey also identifies several barriers to the adoption of quantum AI. High costs, a lack of understanding, and uncertainty about practical applications were cited as major concerns by the respondents. To address these challenges, SAS is working on making quantum research more accessible and intuitive for organizations dealing with complex data problems.
SAS is collaborating with leading companies in quantum computing, such as D-Wave Quantum Inc., IBM, and QuEra Computing Inc., to integrate quantum AI into business solutions. These partnerships aim to leverage the speed and scale of quantum computing to solve complex business challenges across various industries, including life sciences, financial services, and manufacturing.
The survey also found that business leaders see the most potential for quantum AI in areas like data analytics, machine learning, and research and development. However, the lack of trained personnel and clear regulatory guidelines remain significant hurdles for widespread adoption.
