Replit opened its first Asian office in Tokyo to support its enterprise business and expand its partnership with Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing.

Replit announced in a press release that it opened an office in Tokyo to support its enterprise business in Asia. The Tokyo location is its first office in Asia and follows the opening of its London office in September.

Replit presented the new office with Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing (SMFL), which it describes as its first enterprise customer in Japan. SMFL manages operating assets of 9 trillion yen, or about $57 billion.

One SMFL employee used Replit to complete in one week a project that had previously required six people for six months. The companies are expanding their partnership to help more businesses in Asia build custom software with Replit. Replit says enterprise customers also include Accenture, Visa, Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
