Qodo and Google Cloud Collaborate to Enhance AI Code Quality
Qodo has announced a collaboration with Google Cloud to enhance code quality in AI-driven software development, announced in a press release. This partnership aims to provide AI-powered code review tools for free to open-source projects, integrating Google's Gemini models into Qodo's platform.
The collaboration will see the introduction of Qodo Merge, a solution that uses AI to streamline code review processes by identifying issues, detecting potential bugs, and suggesting improvements. This tool will be available at no cost to open-source software maintainers, helping them maintain high-quality standards in their projects.
Additionally, Qodo's state-of-the-art code embedding model, QodoEmbed, will be added to Google Cloud's Model Garden on the Vertex AI platform. This integration aims to improve code search and context retrieval for AI coding tools, offering developers self-service access through their existing Google Cloud infrastructure. The partnership also includes the integration of Google's Gemini 2.5 Pro capabilities into Qodo Gen, enhancing the accuracy of context-aware code suggestions.
