Opsera Introduces Forge Software Factory for AI-Governed Enterprise Development

April 23, 2026
Opsera has launched Forge, a platform that converts business intent into enterprise-ready applications through an AI-governed software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance and security from the start.

Opsera has launched Forge, described as the first intent and context aware Software Factory that converts business intent into enterprise ready applications in minutes, announced in a press release.

Forge establishes what Opsera calls an AI software development lifecycle, replacing traditional coding workflows with specification based automation. The platform captures project intent as a machine readable specification that guides AI coding assistants, ensuring consistent governance, compliance, and security across all stages of software creation.

Key features include a persistent context layer that maintains security and policy rules, reverse engineering tools that modernize legacy systems such as .NET, COBOL, and Java, and an eight-dimensional ForgeScore that evaluates architecture, performance, and security. The system also allows human authorization of AI actions, preventing unapproved or non-compliant code from being deployed.

Opsera stated that Forge enables enterprises to move from concept to production or modernize legacy codebases within hours, providing architectural consistency and regulatory alignment across environments.
