OpenAI Features Apartments.com in GPT-6 Astra Rental Demo

OpenAI featured the Apartments.com ChatGPT app in a GPT-6 Astra apartment search demonstration. The app provides rental availability, pricing, fees, media, messaging and tour booking.

Apartments.com said in a press release that OpenAI featured its app in an apartment search demonstration for GPT-6 Astra. Referral traffic from ChatGPT to Apartments.com rose nearly 40 percent since the app launched in early August, according to internal company data.

Renters can type @Apartments.com in ChatGPT and describe their preferred location, budget and property features. The app provides unit level availability, current pricing, fees, floor plans, photos, videos and Matterport 3D tours.

Users can compare properties, contact property managers and request or book tours without leaving ChatGPT. Apartments.com plans to add more rental information, design changes and other capabilities to the app.
