OpenAI Will Enable Creative Enhancements for ChatGPT Ads

Oct 21, 2026
OpenAI will automatically enable creative enhancements for new and existing self serve ChatGPT ad campaigns on October 30. Advertisers can opt out through Ads Manager.

Search Engine Roundtable reports that OpenAI will automatically enable creative enhancements for new and existing self serve ChatGPT ad campaigns on October 30, 2026. Advertisers can opt out before that date or change the setting later in Ads Manager.

OpenAI can use an existing ad and its landing page to create or update headlines and descriptions, resize images, optimize destination URLs, and translate ad text. Variations can reflect the conversation context or user interests and may be prepared in advance or generated in real time.

Enhanced ads can run without the advertiser reviewing or approving each variation. OpenAI will preserve existing account and campaign opt outs, while settings for individual campaigns will take priority over account defaults.

The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
