Octane and Avalanche have launched an AI-powered security integration for Web3 development, embedding vulnerability detection directly into the Avalanche ecosystem, announced in a press release. This integration allows Web3 teams to identify vulnerabilities as they code, eliminating the need for last-minute security audits.

Traditionally, Web3 teams conduct security audits just before launch, often uncovering critical issues that require time-consuming fixes. The new integration changes this by scanning code in real-time, providing immediate alerts about potential vulnerabilities. This proactive approach enables developers to address issues promptly, reducing the risk of deployment delays.

The integration is specifically tailored to Avalanche's architecture, ensuring that alerts are relevant and actionable. Octane's security platform connects directly to developer workflows, automatically scanning code for security issues within existing CI/CD pipelines. This seamless integration allows teams to deploy with confidence, knowing that their code is secure from the outset.

Since its launch, the integration has scanned over 210,000 lines of code and delivered 177 pieces of actionable feedback, protecting over $261 million in total value locked (TVL) across projects. This collaboration between Octane and Avalanche marks a significant advancement in embedding security into the Web3 development process, offering faster iteration and lower audit costs for developers.
