Nvidia to Supply AI Chips to Saudi Arabia's Humain
Nvidia will supply more than 18,000 of its advanced AI chips to Humain, a new AI company backed by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. This announcement was made during the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum in Riyadh, where Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang highlighted the strategic partnership aimed at establishing Saudi Arabia as a leader in AI and digital transformation.
The chips, known as GB300 Blackwell, will be used to build a 500-megawatt data center in Saudi Arabia. This initiative is part of a broader effort to develop AI infrastructure and capabilities in the region, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals. The partnership will also focus on workforce transformation, providing training and upskilling opportunities for Saudi citizens in advanced AI technologies.
Nvidia's collaboration with Humain underscores the growing importance of AI in global economic strategies and highlights Saudi Arabia's commitment to becoming a significant player in the AI sector. The deployment of these chips is expected to accelerate innovation and digital transformation across various industries in the Kingdom.
