NOVVA Group signed a binding framework agreement to acquire a 3.17 GW renewable energy portfolio in Argentina from ABO Energy.

NOVVA Group signed a binding framework agreement to acquire a 3.17 GW renewable energy portfolio in Argentina from ABO Energy, Novva said (in Spanish). NOVVA founder and CEO Steven Liu and ABO Energy Managing Director Karsten Schlageter signed the agreement in Paris on September 15.

The transaction follows NOVVA's acquisition of three Colombian solar projects from ABO Energy earlier in 2026.

Singapore based NOVVA develops and finances data centers, powered land, powered shells, and renewable energy infrastructure. Liu said the portfolio places Novva among the leading regional renewable energy platforms and strengthens its capacity to supply power to the AI economy. ABO Energy, based in Wiesbaden, Germany, develops wind, solar and storage projects.
