Nearmap Introduces AI-Powered Portfolio Intelligence for Insurers
Nearmap has launched a new AI-powered solution called Portfolio Intelligence, designed to assist property and casualty insurers in managing risk and optimizing portfolio performance. Announced in a press release, this tool allows insurers to move beyond individual property assessments by providing comprehensive portfolio-level insights.
Portfolio Intelligence aggregates AI-powered risk detections and scores using up-to-date aerial imagery, enabling insurers to visualize and assess risk distribution more effectively. This solution, available on the Betterview platform, aims to improve operational efficiency by identifying areas with accumulated risks and facilitating faster, informed decision-making.
The tool also helps insurers reduce loss exposure by analyzing properties based on critical criteria such as roof condition and custom risk flags. Additionally, it identifies untapped market opportunities, allowing insurers to create strategic action plans for agents and distribution partners. With this launch, Nearmap aims to provide insurers with the data-driven intelligence needed to enhance underwriting strategies and improve agent performance.
