Nearmap Expands US Aerial Imagery Coverage With Reach

Nearmap introduces Reach, an aerial capture program that will provide annual 4 cm imagery and more than 130 AI data layers. Reach and the existing Core program will cover 97% of the US population and 95% of US buildings.

Nearmap announced in a press release that its new Reach capture program will provide annual aerial imagery at 4 cm resolution across a larger US footprint. Reach and the existing Nearmap Core program will cover 97% of the US population and 95% of US buildings.

Reach will include more than 130 AI data layers derived from aerial imagery. Nearmap will collect the imagery with HyperCamera4, its latest aerial imaging system, and make the data available through its existing delivery channels.

Capture for Nearmap Reach will begin in January 2027. Nearmap Core will continue capturing metropolitan areas up to three times per year and covers 88% of the US population.
