Mordor Intelligence Projects Agricultural Robots Market to Triple by 2030
Mordor Intelligence announced in a press release that the global agricultural robots market is valued at USD 25 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach USD 75 billion by 2030, representing a 24.6% compound annual growth rate. The increase is driven by automation needs in farming as producers face labor shortages, higher costs, and pressure to improve efficiency.
The report highlights the growing use of artificial intelligence, real-time sensing, and autonomous navigation, which have moved agricultural robots from experimental use to widespread deployment. Governments in the UK and Australia are supporting adoption through grants and national robotics initiatives that reduce payback periods and encourage automation investment.
Funding for farm robotics continues to expand through partnerships such as New Holland–Bluewhite and backing for startups including Verdant Robotics and Fieldwork Robotics. Advances in sensors, cameras, and LIDAR are enabling robots to operate with greater precision, supporting new applications in both open fields and greenhouses.
North America remains the largest market due to extensive commercial farms and regulatory pilots for driverless equipment, while Asia-Pacific shows the fastest growth, led by China, Japan, South Korea, and India’s focus on low-cost and solar-powered robotic solutions.
