Sabanto and Verdant Robotics Integrate Autonomous Tractor and Precision Application Systems

July 06, 2026
Sabanto and Verdant Robotics have completed a technical integration that enables autonomous tractors to perform plant-level precision application without an operator, combining navigation and AI-based input control for continuous farming operations.

Sabanto and Verdant Robotics have integrated their agricultural technologies, announced in a press release. The integration connects Sabanto's Autonomy System for tractors with Verdant's SharpShooter precision application platform, enabling fully autonomous field operations without a driver.

The combined system allows an autonomous tractor to navigate fields and power the implement while SharpShooter identifies plants and weeds using its Aim & Apply feature. The system applies inputs only where needed, reducing input use and labor costs.

SharpShooter communicates with Sabanto-equipped tractors through the CAN bus, providing real time field data to adjust implement height and speed based on crop and field conditions. According to the companies, the joint system replicates the decisions a skilled operator would make, delivering continuous operation with improved efficiency and precision.
