Milliman MedInsight Introduces MIKE for Healthcare Analytics

Milliman MedInsight is adding MIKE, an AI knowledge assistant, to its Health Cloud as part of a strategy to embed responsible AI tools in healthcare analytics workflows.

Milliman MedInsight announced in a press release the next phase of its AI strategy, which will add responsible AI capabilities to healthcare analytics workflows. The strategy focuses on providing contextual and verifiable answers using MedInsight data, documentation and analytical methods.

The company is releasing MIKE, short for MedInsight Knowledge Engine, through the MedInsight Health Cloud. The AI knowledge assistant helps users find information grounded in MedInsight content and documentation.

Planned capabilities include natural language queries for MedInsight enriched data and broader access to Databricks Genie through the MedInsight Innovation Portal. The tools are designed to reduce manual searches and technical query creation while supporting governance, transparency and human judgment.
