LocusX Secures $3 Million to Enhance AI Debugging for Games
LocusX has raised $3 million in seed funding to advance its AI-powered debugging software for game developers, announced in a press release. The funding round was co-led by Diagram Ventures and Triptyq Capital.
The Montreal-based startup aims to improve the efficiency and quality of game development by using AI to identify and propose fixes for programming bugs. The platform, which functions as a plug-in for developers, leverages large language models to assist in debugging, although it leaves the final decision to developers.
LocusX plans to use the funding to refine its product and expand its team. The company is focused on increasing the "fix rate" of bugs and intends to enhance its "find rate" in the future. The AI-driven platform is designed to accelerate the development process, reduce manual work, and ultimately produce higher-quality games.
